Condor Setup

Set up central manager on Linux and a submission host on WinXP and experienced the problem on Windows:

Failed to start non-blocking update to <192.168.0.20:9618>
attempt to connect to <192.168.0.20:9618> failed: timed out after 20 seconds
ERROR: SECMAN:2003:TCP connection to <192.168.0.20:9618> failed

Solution: Go to central manager, which is LINUX in this case, turn off the firewall seetings by: ./etc/init.d/iptables stop
